WAREHOUSE LOADING CLERK

Full-time

This position is responsible for providing customer service in the back warehouse and garden center while maintaining the inventory of products sold and the upkeep of the appearance of the store. Applicant must be able to maintain a neat and tidy appearance, a clean work environment, and keep the store neat, clean, and organized. This position requires outstanding customer service skills by greeting all customers in a friendly manner with a smile and a verbal greeting. Warehouse clerk position loads customer orders and unloads freight trucks.

Tasks:

  • Load products into customer’s vehicle in a safe and neat method.
  • Stack, organize, and recover fencing material.
  • Fill, stock, and organize planting mixes, bagged soils.
  • Sweep, clean hay piles and keep neat & tidy.
  • Stack, organize feed pallets in warehouse.
  • Keep feed decks organized, stocked, clean and free of loose debris.
  • Take loading tickets from customers, verify their order, and load the customer.
  • Stock, recovery of baling twine and seed mixes.
  • Pick up debris around parking lot and store, empty trash cans.

Qualifications:

  • Prior forklift experience required.
  • Must be customer service oriented and actively looking for ways to help people.
  • Have the ability to communicate with others clearly and in a polite manner.
  • Have the ability to work in a group or team atmosphere and enjoy working with others.
  • Must have attention to detail and be thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Must be reliable, responsible, and dependable in fulfilling obligations.
  • This position requires that a person be on their feet for the entire shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively with occasional moving products that exceed 300 lbs with the use of equipment.
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, twist, kneel and have considerable flexibility.

This is a full-time benefited position to work 40 hours per week. The work schedule will vary from week to week. We are open 7 days a week and weekend work is to be expected. A pre-employment drug screen is required.

CDL DRIVER

Full-time

Local Delivery of Fertilizer and Landscape Products.

CDL Driver needed at our Fertilizer/Landscape Facility. Will be delivering products to our local customers as well as assisting and loading customers with landscape materials. A high level of customer interaction which requires excellent customer service skills.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Excellent Driving Record
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Doubles/Triples Endorsement
  • Knowledge of Local Area
  • Friendly & Outgoing Personality

CASHIER

Part-time

Part-time cashier for all checkout counters. This position requires outstanding customer service skills to greet customers and accurately process checkout of customer transactions. Prior retail experience preferred.

  • Have a neat and clean appearance.
  • Be friendly and courteous.
  • Must be able to twist, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently.
  • Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

CARRY OUT

Part-time

This position is responsible for the daily carryout of feed and related products for our customers.  This is a fast paced position that requires constant hustle and attention to detail, a strong work ethic and customer service skills.

Tasks include:

  • Keeping feed decks organized, stocked, cleaned and free of loose debris.
  • Re-bagging broken and torn bags.
  • Keeping aisles and parking lot clean and clear.
  • Cleaning of restrooms and emptying garbage cans.
  • Repetitive lifting of weight up to 50 pounds with an occasional occurrence of weights that may exceed 300 pounds.
  • Requires that you be able to stoop, bend, twist, kneel, and have considerable flexibility.
  • Requires excellent customer service skills as this person has the last contact with our customer.
