CDL Driver

Full-Time

 

CDL Driver needed at our Fertilizer/Landscape Facility. Will be delivering products to our local customers as well as assisting and loading customers with landscape materials. A high level of customer interaction which requires excellent customer service skills.

Requirements
• Valid Class A CDL
• Excellent Driving Record
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Doubles/Triples Endorsement
• Knowledge of Local Area
• Friendly & Outgoing Personality

This is a full-time position with benefits, will work 40 hours per week including some Saturdays. Must pass pre-employment drug screen.

   

Fertilizer/Landscape Warehouseman

Full-Time

 

This is a general labor position that requires warehousemen to bag bulk fertilizer and load vehicles with bulk landscape product. Will provide sales counter service and answer phone questions for customers.

Requirements
• Clean driving record required.
• 6 months forklift experience preferred.
• Front end loader experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a safe, efficient manner.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
• Must maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Must be motivated and a self-starter.
• Good phone skills required to answer incoming calls and communicate information as needed to customers.
• Ability to greet customers in a friendly manner with a smile and verbal greeting.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

   

Hardware/Plumbing Sales Clerk

Full-Time

 

This position requires applicant to sell products, provide customer service, inventory control, and recovery of shelves: selling of hardware and farm merchandise to our customers, answering questions, and answering telephones. You must be able to maintain a neat and tidy personal appearance and help keep the store neat, clean and organized.
Qualifications:
• Herbicide/fungicide knowledge with weed identification and general forage knowledge.
• Knowledge of vineyard and landscape supplies.
• Ring up, carry out, and load hardware/farm related store merchandise.
• Sell products, provide accurate product information, participate in general cleaning.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
• Know and use resources necessary to make proper recommendations of products sold.
• Ability to learn store prices, products and services.
• Be able to use a computerized point-of-sale system.
• Maintain product inventory levels to assure maximum service.
• Arrange merchandise stock displays and shelves.
• Maintain a clean and orderly store environment.
• Greet customers in a friendly manner with a smile and verbal greeting.
• Ability to interact effectively with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to lift, carry, move, and slide 50 lbs. frequently.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.

The work schedule will vary from week to week. We are open 7 days a week and weekend work is to be expected. This is a full time benefited position, to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.

   

Carry-out

Part-Time

 
This position is responsible for the daily carryout of feed and related products for our customers. This is a fast paced position that requires constant hustle and attention to detail, a strong work ethic and customer service skills.

Requirements
• Keeping feed decks organized, stocked, cleaned and free of loose debris.
• Re-bagging broken and torn bags.
• Keeping aisles and parking lot clean and clear.
• Cleaning of restrooms and emptying garbage cans.
• Repetitive lifting of weight up to 50 pounds with an occasional occurrence of weights that may exceed 300 pounds.
• Requires that you be able to stoop, bend, twist, kneel, and have considerable flexibility.
• Requires excellent customer service skills as this person has the last contact with our customer.

The work schedule will vary from week to week. We are open 7 days a week and weekend work is to be expected. The position will work 4 to 8 hours per day, 20 to 30 hours per week.

Receptionist - Accounts Receivable

Part-Time

 

We currently have a Receptionist-A/R position in the main office with a part-time job opportunity for those qualified to join our knowledgeable staff. This position is responsible for accounts receivable, answering phones, overseeing the reception desk, and other clerical tasks as assigned. Prior office experience preferred.
Requirements:
* Strong computer skills with knowledge of MS Office.
* Ability to perform arithmetic calculations.
* Be organized with attention to detail.
* Must be friendly with a positive attitude that promotes team work.
* Must be self-motivated and dependable.
This is a part-time position to work 16 hours, 2 days a week. A pre-employment drug screen is required.
